What Vistors Are Saying

“These gardens are definitely worth a visit. I don’t even like gardens usually, but really enjoyed these. Even my teens who get bored walking around places like this usually thought they were awesome. You can see it all in about an hour unless you want to spend some time sitting on a bench and just basking in the beauty of it all.”

“A city park along the Mississippi river: benches, trees flowers. A popular wedding spot. Adjacent is Clemens Gardens, which started as a rose garden, and has expanded greatly. A beautiful formal garden.”

Visitor from St. Cloud, MN

“Not a formal garden like the Clemens Gardens but a more natural setting on the banks of the Mississippi. A wonderful walk in a cool forested area. We really enjoyed this. I would highly recommend a visit. Don’t miss the peacocks!”

Visitor from Minnesota

“Fun for the whole family very beautiful place to visit.”

“Munsinger/Clemens is the only garden of its type in the region. Actually this consists of several gardens making one large whole. It is always beautiful any time of the year, from after Mother’s Day through September. Munsinger is along the side of the Mississippi River which adds to the beauty.”

“On the banks of the Mississipi River it was a surprise to find the type of gardens you would expect to find at a English Stately home. 6 lovely gardens with fountains and a great planting style. At this time of year some beds were just being planted and it was obvious a great deal of expertise and care had gone into the design… going to the riverside area seating, more lovely fountains and to our surprise 3 peacocks.”
