Art Fair in the Gardens


Annual Art Fair in the Gardens

Each summer, Munsinger and Clemens Gardens hosts an art fair featuring artists from all around the state.  Visitors are encouraged to browse and purchase some wonderful pieces of artwork to take home.  Also enjoy the music provided in different areas among the flowers along with food and beverages.

Ninth Annual Art Fair in the Gardens will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm

Free and open to the public at Riverside Drive SE, St Cloud Minnesota

Music will be provided throughout the day. 

In the Past, the Art Fair has featured 45-plus area artists.

The public success of these professional concerts has been gratifying, and the series continues to showcase high quality local talent. All concerts are held on alternating Sundays at 3:00 p.m. near the Gazebo in Munsinger Gardens on the banks of the Mississippi River. All concerts are free and the Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society will again sell those fabulous $1 root beer floats.

  * Memorial Release of the Butterflies schedule is:

  • 2:00 pm: Butterflies will be distributed at the Gazebo in Musinger Gardens
  • 2:30 pm: Short Program and Release of Butterflies (Butterflies may be purchased for $20/each online at
  • 3:00 pm: Concert begins
  • The Memorial Release of the Butterflies is a collaborative event between Quiet Oaks Hospice House, Musinger Clemens Botanical Society, St Cloud Symphony Orchestra and local hospice agencies. 
  • Schedule may be subjected to change. 
  • This activity is made possible by a grant from Central MN Arts Board, through funding provided by the Minnesota State Legislature.

Evening in the Gardens

Come and enjoy a Pig Roast meal on the mississippi river in the greenhouse at Musinger Gardens.  The roasting of the pig will be done right on site for all to see.

Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm.

Hosted by Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society

You will not want to miss this great event with a roasted pig, cash bar and music.  

Music provided by featured musicians Cristina Seaborn and Gerry Grider along with the cash bar by Westside Liquor and Entertainment Center.

Tickets will be available to purchase for $20 per person in advance and $25 per person at the door so plan now.

Thanks to all who attended the event on Tuesday, August 20, 2013.  The weather was hot, entertainment was enjoyable and pig roast was outstanding.

The event was to support the Gardens and hosted by Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society at the gardens greenhouse. 

All were welcome and advance tickets were required. 

The experience of Munsinger Gardens along the Mississippi River amid late summer blooms was beautiful.

2015 Photo Contest

The photo contest was initiated to give visitors yet another reason to visit the Gardens.  Any visitor is eligible to enter the contest. 

Photo Contest runs from January 1, 2015 through November 6, 2015.  Entries are due November 6th and 7th at the Lake George Municipal Complex. 

Award Ceremony to take place at a Public Gallery opening on Sunday, November 15th at 2:30 pm and the Awards to be presented beginning at 3:00 pm at the Lake George Municipal Complex.  Refreshments will be served following the award ceremony.  

Photos need to be picked up after the public gallery.  Any photos not picked up by February 1, 2016 will be disposed of.
