About The Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society
The Munsinger Clemens Botanical Society (MCBS), an all-volunteer organization, was formed in January, 2000, to bring residents and visitors in closer contact with the Gardens, to increase horticultural understanding of members and the public, to provide ongoing support of financial and other goals, and to serve as advocates on the local, regional, and national level. MCBS unites the public with the Gardens’ staff and the City of St. Cloud Parks Department.
Membership is open to all. You don't have to be a gardener to belong! We offer outdoor summer concerts and events. There are times to chat with the staff of the Gardens and opportunities to volunteer with friends. And the chance to be a financial patron, to assure the continuance of high garden standards into the future.
No Meetings. Just Events!
Since our inception in 2000 we have provided Music in the Gardens (a series of free public concerts), this website of information on the Gardens, Art Fair in the Gardens (exhibits for sale by art professionals and crafters), national affiliation through membership in the Americal Horticultural Society, the newsletter as a horticultural source for Gardens information, and a host of happenings open to the public. In addition we have been able to give financial assistance to the Gardens.
